First Chance Incorporated will engage in providing services throughout the community that will allow residents to have better opportunities in life by providing referral services through family independence agency, the court system and the various school districts.

These corporations will provide mentoring and counseling, crime and drug prevention, recreation and sports, academic enrichment, parenting classes, job training, character education, arts and culture, music and dance, leadership development, and abstinence prevention programs. The purpose of these activities is to assist all residents in reaching their fullest social, economic, and emotional potential through all available resources.

A critical need exists in Benton Harbor for quality care, treatment, and prevention programs for young people whose circumstances have placed them at risk. First Chance will make a contribution toward satisfying that need while at the same time providing a substantial benefit to the greater Benton Harbor community.
